Mancat Monday

The boys have had a nice week, and seem to be getting along with Lenny better.  I think the extra attention and playtime is helping, along with the essential oils.
Rusty is taking after brother Oliver in being dramatic!  This toy was flipped over and he acted like he had never seen it before...these boys are so crazy!

We got a new shipment of Feliway in from Chewy and everyone enjoyed the craft paper...Harrison has taken his favorite toy to the paper to play

Flynn loves playing with a shoe string on this scratcher, and also chasing it around the den.  He is super speedy and can catch it often!  Then he will take you for a walk to the kitchen before he drops it.

Oliver being a toy hog...two toys for him today!

Mancat Monday

The mancats have had a nice week.  It stopped raining on Sunday afternoon and we were able to open the windows for a bit.
Since Rusty and Flynn have been such good boys about taking their medicine, they got a new tent to play in.  Rusty took right to it!

Playtime with a blue feather is always fun.  Rusty is very particular about his feathers.  I have tried other colors, and I don't know if he doesn't see them as well, but this dark blue is by far his favorite.

I do with Target would come out with another cat scratcher, so we can take down the Christmas Cafe in the background.

Flynn (left) and Oliver are waiting to see if I will share my ice cream with them.  Oliver is really the only one that likes it, and he got a few licks.  Flynn just doesn't want to be left out!

No pics of Harrison this week, but he is doing fine.

Thursday is the big day for Flynn and Rusty...purrs would be appreciated.

Mancat Monday

This will be a random post with a hodge podge of photos!
For anyone that did not see or receive our Christmas card, here it is.  I am holding a baby Wallaby, and no, he is not mine :)
Rusty was spooked the other night.  Auntie was making a noise, and he saw Oliver pop up over the kitchen ledge...he thought Oliver was making the noise!

Your drink is ready at the cafe!

Let the fun begin!

Rusty did pretty well wearing the hats...

Reindeer head...

Santa hat

The boys were great with the presents until Christmas Eve.  They broke into this one during the night!  I guess they figure Santa had already come, so they could stop being good!

Flynn is ready to open presents!

Oliver loved his catnip toy from his Cat Scout friend...

Flynn was excited about all the boxes that have been arriving at the house!

Harrison (back) and Oliver enjoying some sun and stretching...

The boys playing on the couch.  Harrison is in his cushion hole, while Rusty tries to get the string.  Flynn watching and waiting for a good time to join in the fun!

We hope you all had a nice holiday break and are ready for a wonderful new year!

Mancat Monday

Lots of photos in this post.  The boys are all doing well.
Harrison and Flynn got a new toy from a friend for their birthdays.  Everyone loved it!
There are almost enough balls/levels for each boy to have their own.  Here's Harrison giving the ball a whack.
Rusty was a bit afraid at first, but once he saw the others playing he gave it a go...
They also got a new scratcher...it looks bigger in the photos online!  Of course, Flynn is a giant baby!
Flynn checking out the kitchen from on top of the fridge...
Rusty found the purple puff.  When I glanced over and saw him, I first thought he was Tanner.  Had to do a double take!
Rusty now weighs 10 pounds.  He is slowing down on the amount he gains each week now, which is good.  I'm hoping he is about done growing.
Oliver has the paw dangle down...
Flynn is getting too big for this bed!
Everyone playing nicely together.  Love my family!

Tanner Tuesday

Tanner continues to be a bit stuffy but has moments of improvement.  We will keep plugging along until it is time to return to the vet for a recheck.  He doesn't seem overly bothered by his cold and eats and plays.  He gained weight this week, so he is definitely feeding his cold!
We have had some beautiful weather lately and the sun puddles are plentiful.  Here's Tanner trying on his bowtie for the Christmas card photos...
Our trees are just gorgeous right now...

Here is a shot with all four boys...can you find them?  Do you know which cat is which?

We started decorating for Christmas over the weekend, while we had some time, and the boys all helped.

Eventually, Tanner was wiped out and found a pile of tissue to rest in...

More sun puddles...

Fun with a new catnip toy.  This was supposed to be a Christmas present for Oliver.  I had the package on the kitchen island and when I came downstairs the next morning, I started finding these toys all down the hall!  The package was now lying on the kitchen floor and destroyed!  At least I know they like them!  MOL  Yes, I've ordered more and put them in a safe place!!

So while we still have a bit of this cold/allergies/herpes infection, Tanner is enjoying life and living it to the fullest!  Thanks for your continued prayers.

Mancat Monday

The mancats have been having a great time lately!  They are playing a lot and going for stroller rides around the neighborhood.
Harrison is always ready to play.  He has several toys that are 'his' and if others are trying to play he will run off with them.  Stinker!
Oliver is getting better about playing with the babies.  There are days where he just sits and watches and days when he is right in the middle of the action.  He still loves to roll over your legs and do flips!
Flynn is a fast boy!  He loves to jump when he plays and when he catches the toy, he takes it to his pop-up tent.
Tanner enjoys playing too and loves his special time with his 'girl'.  He will have an update tomorrow on his cold...we are hoping to hear from the vet today with some results.
The boys are also loving the cooler weather.  We have the windows open most of the time when we are home now.  Harrison is so cute sitting there watching his birds.

The mancats are having a great time this Fall.

Mancat Monday

The mancats have a new toy and it is a hit!
Harrison with the new toy after a play session.  He loves to catch the toy and try to run off with it.  He also drags it all around the house...you never know where it will turn up!

The only bad thing about the new toy is they are not very durable.  Here you can see a new refill on the left and the old one on the right...we had only been playing a few days!  Below is a video of Harrison and Flynn playing...enjoy!

Tanner Tuesday

Tanner continues to do very well.  He is gaining weight, 14lbs 7oz now.  He eats well.  He plays hard.  He takes his meds like a champ.  We are LOVING our routine and BORING life right now!

Tanner's next vet school visit will be on Monday, August 31st.  They will do an abdominal ultrasound and lots of bloodwork.  Please send your healing purrs that he is still stable with no evidence of disease!

The most exciting thing we have had happen, is Auntie cleaned out from under the stove and dryer!  She found a multitude of toys...4 jelly beans, 10 crinkle balls, 2 mice, and 1 fish.

Here's a couple of videos...one shows Ollie knocking a couple of toys back under the door to the laundry room.  The other is Tanner just walking by...

If it doesn't play, you can click HERE to watch it on YouTube.

The video is HERE on YouTube as well.

Tanner Tuesday

Tanner is having a rest week this week.  He had a quick blood draw yesterday just to make sure everything still looks good, and it does.  He has now completed two rounds of his protocol.  We will redo the ultrasound next week, and hopefully start round three...all dependant on the results of the ultrasound, of course.
Tanner got a few new toys for doing so well...a new catnip heart, and a couple of his favorite crinkle balls...a big one and a small one.
Cousin Georgie is wondering where his toys are, and maybe he will just help Tanner!  This area is a favorite spot for everyone.  Mom re-finished this chest for us, and it is a perfect fit under the window in the living room.  There is a bird feeder right outside, so lots of activity for the boys to watch.

Tanner's bed is from Coccolino Creations on Etsy.  Coccolino also has a blog, and you can read about him here...My Mini Pet Pig.

Toysday Tuesday

Ollie and Cousin Georgie love to play with a certain toy.  They are both big jumpers and do a good job of giving each other a turn at play.  Auntie and I try to give them jumping time several times a day!  One of these days, I will get a good photo of them jumping big...in the meantime, here are a few ok photos...
Ollie taking a turn...Georgie is in his spot waiting, do you see him?  (He is behind Auntie, under the hammock!)
Looking a bit silly with this jump, but at least I got him in the air!
Cousin Georgie will jump for the toy too, and can usually catch it mid air, but he also loves to roll around in the floor!  We love Georgies black pads on his white feet!

Toysday Tuesday

Oliver is now 9 months old, and loves to play.  He still enjoys doing flips on the ground when playing and is quite good at it!  Here's a new video captured over the weekend.  Enjoy!

Mancats love toys

This photo is from Tanner's birthday, but he got a few more of these crinkle balls for "Mothers Day"...since he thinks he is Ollie's mother!

I finally found a string toy that Tanner would play with this weekend, even if the babies came around.  He is acting more and more like his old self again!

We hope all the Mother's out there had a wonderful celebration yesterday.
