Mancat Monday

We are still alive and doing well!  These photos are in no particular order!!
Rusty helping decorate the new tree upstairs.  We broke down and bought another one this year because we have too many ornaments!

Rusty had a dental cleaning and needed 4 teeth pulled.  He was a bit drunk that first night at home and could not keep his tongue in his mouth!

This past Saturday, the Canipe's had their family Christmas party.  Here is me (red shirt), Auntie, with our Dad (grey) and Uncle.

Charles, Teddy and Pumpkin all helped wrap a few presents.

Trying out the portrait mode on my phone with Charles.  So handsome!

Harrison enjoying the soft blanket under the tree upstairs

Rusty helping me with the Christmas cards...

Our family ornament...

Flynn got a vacuum cleaner since he enjoys being vacuumed!

Charles has a black cat in a yellow sweater.  His color is yellow and that can be challenging for Christmas.  Pumpkin tried watermelon for the first time this year, so she has an ornament to remember that event.

The tree in the breakfast nook

Black tree in the dining room

Tree in the study.  If you are keeping count, that makes 5 trees!

The panthers have been wiped out from all the decorating...front to back is Harrison, Flynn and Charles

Pumpkin trying out a warm hat and scarf

Rusty helping us decorate...he found a soft tree skirt and decided to rest for a while

Charles loves Pumpkin's grasshoppers.  He has eaten a few as well!

Pumpkin checking out the tree...

We have a waterfowl rescue in the state and they put out this ornament.  I had to buy it to remember my Smokey, who was known as Goose.

At Thanksgiving, Auntie, mom, dad, and I picked up pecans in yard.  Mom and Dad have 4 pecan trees and they produced pretty well this year.  I think we collected about 15 gallons that afternoon.

Well, there you have it.  We are doing well and having many adventures.  Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Mancat Monday, but on a Tuesday

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
Here is our card in case yours didn't arrive.  International folks, they were put in the mail a bit later than normal, so I hope your cards have arrived by now :)

Cousins Lenny and Teddy are doing well.  I am glad that Lenny has a friend now.  He is acting more like a cat and loves to wrestle Teddy.

Pumpkin Spike is growing and loving life.  We found out that it is a girl!  It is hard to say she, after all these years of having boy cats :)  She may just be one of the boys too.

Flynn is helping me prepare Pumpkin some kale for her salad.  She gets greens daily, but doesn't seem to actually eat very many of them.  She is a bug eater mainly right now.

Cousin Teddy has his eye procedure on January 6th.  This was taken the following day.  He is a little swollen, even still and his eyelids are red, but he doesn't act like anything is bothering him.  We were concerned about pain, since we all know he doesn't tolerate that very well, but he did just fine.  Hoping that is a one and done procedure and the eyelashes won't grow back.

Pumpkin enjoying a juicy horn worm...

Harrison loves a soft blanket.

Rusty loves the flannel sheets

Pumpkin got a pop-up playpen so she can run around and stay contained.  Cousins George and Teddy tried to comfort her.

Harrison loves water and didn't mind sitting in Pumpkins bath one day to help her out...such a good brother!

Flynn waiting for his Christmas presents...

Rusty loved his new blue feather!

He also enjoyed Flynn's catnip!

Harrison was thrilled with his new helicopter and immediately ran off with it.

Christmas can be hard work...Rusty needed a nap in the heated bed.

Harrison in a fun cube...probably laying there so Teddy can't run through it :)

Flynn enjoying a warmish day on the porch...we aren't having as many warm days, so we all take advantage when we do.

Well, that has you caught up.  Thanks for stopping by!

Mancat Monday

I apologize up front for the photo overload in this post!  Today will be a hodge podge of things.  The boys get new ornaments each year because I love to collect them because they help me remember fun places I've been or fun things I've done.

Each boy got a charm from the Imado cat shrine in Tokyo.  Here is Flynn's in his color, teal.

This is Harrison's red elephant from Kenya.

We did a family ornament and included Lenny...This was before it was decided he would be Aunties cat.

Rusty's navy moose from Alaska...

Tree in the study at the front of the house...

Tree in the living room at the back of the house...

Oliver's orange ball from Wakayama Japan.

My four...

African ornament with all the boys colors...

Black tree in the dining room...

Last tree in the breakfast nook...

Flynn must have been cold on Friday...he snuggled under a blanket with me...

Oliver sitting crazy on my bed.  He has one paw on the steps on the other side of the foot board.  One arm and a leg on the foot board, and then a leg on the bed!

Oliver's Cat Scout ornament from last year.  You may remember Hughes was misspelled as Hughs.  I finally figured out how to remove the 's' and fix it!  Note:  You can remove sharpie ink by going over it with dry erase marker and then rubbing it off!

Flynn helping to wrap a gift...

Oliver supervising...

Rusty waiting for Flynn to move...

Finally, Rusty gets to lie on the paper!

Harrison helping..

Rusty watching from the ski chalet...

Come back tomorrow for Tuesday Travels...we will start the Japan trip!
