Mancat Monday

The boys have enjoyed their week.  There were a couple of cool mornings so we could open the windows!
Rusty felt puny yesterday for most of the day.  He had a coughing fit in the night and then didn't want his breakfast.  By the evening though, he was back to eating and asking to play, although he had another coughing fit.  Will keep an eye on him.

Harrison is a silly boy and enjoys playing.  He still asks for several extra cans of food a day...what a goober!

Our guest visitor today is Niles the Camel.  He attended our church service as an illustration for Matthew 19:24.  Things started out well.  We've had animals on stage before...just nothing so large!  He was well behaved during the service, just standing there with his behind to the crowd.  However, when it was time for him to leave, he decided he wasn't done!  He backed up instead of moving forward, and ended up stepping off the stage!  The stage is probably 4 feet off the ground.  Thankfully, he didn't get hurt or fall down!  But now, he is in the sanctuary with the people...

They tried to get him to head out the doors, but he wasn't going.  He just walked around and did what he wanted.  We had to dismiss without anymore singing :)

From what I hear, it took about 45 minutes to convince him to leave...he stayed outside for the second service!  LOL

Well, there you have it...never a dull moment around here!

Mancat Monday

Everybody has had a good week...
Catnip feast for Black Cat Appreciation Day!

My four panthers...should have put Rusty's panther bandanna on him!

Rusty in the little donut box...this is still a huge hit!

Rusty in the siamese bed in my room.

Look closely and you'll see Harrison in the cat ball...he is pretty much the only one that will get in here.

Harrison has started asking to snuggle more lately.  He only likes to snuggle in my bed, although I can hold him other places, as long as I am standing.  He reminds me a lot of Smokey and this is how things started with him too.  Maybe in a few more years, Harrison will be a lap cat!  I certainly miss having a cat to hold while watching TV at night!

Are your cats lap cats?

Mancat Monday

Everyone is doing well again this week.
Oliver enjoys the donut box :)  He also loves the orange donuts and plays with them regularly.

Harrison is even too big for the box :)

Flynn and Harrison are good friends and hang out together quite a bit.  This photo really shows the size difference in them.  Flynn is the large one :)  He is a big goof, but a sweet boy.

Oliver is in love with the vacuum cleaner, as long as it isn't on.  He scent marks all over it and snuggles up to it!  Have I mentioned that he is a bit crazy?

Rusty does not like to be held by Auntie.  He pitches such a fit!  I always tease Auntie that she is squeezing him too hard.  She calls him an angry elf :)

Rusty has one of Tanner's habits...picking his toes!  Oliver jumps on the table at the end and spooks Rusty...

Mancat Monday

When my friends and I celebrate our birthdays, we give each other cat toys!  The mancats received some new things this weekend...
Flynn is hanging out in this handmade donut box!  It is from the Snow Leopard Trust and was handmade in Mongolia from wool.  There were 6 cute donuts in the box as well.

Flynn learning to be patient while donuts are stacked on his paws...it is hard for him to be still, so this will be a good exercise for him!
Cousin Georgie wouldn't look at the camera, but he enjoyed sitting in the box too!

Harrison also loved the box.  We also received wool balls and mice to play with.  The boys are enjoying it all!

Harrison decided he needed to sit in the window above Aunties shower on Saturday morning.  He had a great view of the birds from up there!  He was talking and Auntie picked him up and he scampered into the window sill.  She brought him down before jumping in the shower.
He decided he could just up there by himself, while she was showering.  He couldn't quite make it, and couldn't get a foot hold to climb, so Auntie pushed him on up and he sat there until she was done!

Rusty and Oliver are doing well too...they just didn't get any photos this week!
