Paws for Japan

Today we are joining BlogPaw Be The Change for Pets and others for "Paws for Japan Day". Sparkle is holding a commentathon today to raise funds for the relief efforts in this country. The devastation is great, but so is the out-pouring of love and support. We reflect now with a few pictures mom took when she visited Japan in 2008.

At the website for BlogPaws There is a chip-in where you can make secure donations to support the efforts. Please go there and help out today and Be the Change you want to see in the world!

  10. My human remembers seeing kitties in Japan when she went there 20 years ago. She tried to talk to one that was sitting by a cemetery, but he ignored her. Later, she saw the cemetery caretaker yakking up a storm to the kitty, who was listening intently! She figured maybe the cat did not understand English and thought she was talking gibberish.
