Mancat Monday

The boys and I all had a nice weekend.  The weather is nice and warm here right now, so we took advantage of it.  Storms rolled through Saturday night, but thankful for no damage.

Oliver loves to be near...here he is helping me eat breakfast.  He doesn't care for people food, so he sits politely.

Mancat Monday

Lots of photos again from a full week of activity!  The boys are all doing well.

Easter, or really any weekend, is the perfect time for fresh cat nip.  Flynn believes he should be brought some every time you go outside!  Top to bottom - Oliver, Harrison, Rusty, Flynn, Cousin Georgie 

The boys were blessed with crocheted eggs filled with catnip from a friend.  Each egg is in the boys color.  Sorry for poor photo quality.  They were excited about their eggs and not sitting still!  Here is Oliver with his orange egg.

Rusty loved his navy egg too, but would not sit near it for a photo...it was usually rolling down the hall for him to hatch! 

Speaking of Rusty, he finally discovered this toy. It's been sitting in the living room his entire life!

We had a beautiful weekend, so open windows were necessary.  The panthers wasted no time in sniffing the fresh air, and watching all the birds in the yard.

This was Rusty's first Easter, so I picked up this cute bow tie for him.  He did pretty good about wearing it.  I fastened it on and started playing with his favorite toy, so he forgot about it.  He looks so handsome!

Almost Wordless Wednesday

 Window views with Smokey, Devon, Tanner, Cousin Pirate and Cousin Sophie!

These photos were all from a few years ago...just felt like remembering my boy Mojo today.  He loved to go outside, but could go very little due to his allergies issues.  During his last couple of weeks of life, we were having some really good days, health wise for him and weather, so we let him enjoy the fresh air and the outdoors.  (Supervised of course)  This is the look of pure bliss on his face!

Devon, along with Cousins Pirate and Sophie, enjoy some window whiffies!  It's turning a bit cooler now, but we like to sit in the windows on the weekends...

Mancat Monday

Mancats enjoyed window whiffies this weekend!  The weather has cooled off and the humidity is very low, so we took advantage of nice weather.  Not to worry, Smokey took a couple of antihistamines and did just fine.  His allergens are very low this time of year. 

We hope you all were able to get some fresh air this weekend too!

Mancats enjoy Window Whiffies

Saturday was a beautiful day in the South...not too hot nor humid, but lovely. We checked the pollen counts to make sure Smokey wouldn't have too much trouble. Everything looked fine, so we opened the windows for a couple of hours.
Tanner was up there immediately checking on the fresh air, and enjoying the birds that hang out in this tree.
You can just see Devon's head here...Auntie was outside and they were both curious about what she was doing.
Cousins Sophie and Pirate also enjoyed the fresh air...

We are enjoying the quiet weather right now, and send our thoughts to those in the deep south recovering from the deadly tornados.

Mancats Love Fresh Air

These pictures might be from a few months ago, but this is how we spent our weekend...Mancats love fresh air!
It was a gorgeous weekend here in NC, and we took advantage of the warmer weather and opened the windows for the boys. Everyone slept so hard after getting all that fresh air!

We do hope the colder weather will return as we are not ready for spring yet...some of you might think that is crazy, but here in the South, summer follows with a vengeance and we do not like the hots!

It's nice to get the house aired out...and hear the birds outside. This window is a favorite spot because in the tree there are a few suet feeders...lots of birdies hand out near this window!

We hope you all had a great weekend too...

Window Views - A Painting

My mom painted this for me for my birthday last year. She took the idea from a photo I had of Devon and Smokey looking out our window and she modified it a bit to include the bird feeders and some better scenery. I think she did a great job!
