Here are the zucchini...they are doing quite well. The squash are not growing like we would like...not sure what is going on there. The zucchini are full of blooms!
Here is a dill. We read in the Farmer's Almanac that dill is a friend of squash and will help keep away the squash bugs. It seems to like where we placed it and is growing fine. I wonder if maybe the squash don't like it?
The tomatoes are growing and producing...won't be long before these babies will turn red. Then it will be time for a yummy tomato sandwich!
Can you see the baby bell pepper growing? There are many more blooms waiting to become a pepper too! Wouldn't you like to be a pepper to? Who remembers that commercial?
Next week - flowers!
Here's a view of the whole space. It isn't very large, but it grows plenty for Auntie and me. The large bush at the back is a butterfly bush. The birds enjoy hanging out in it too.
Next week - flowers!
Your garden is doing so well! Look at those tomatoes! Look at that pepper! Yippee! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! What an awesome garden! Mom LOVES squash! And it's funny since her maiden name was...SQUASHIC! MOL!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking grand!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! You are really good gardeners. Do you eat the stuff too. I would stop by for a bite if you grew tuna fishies. HEE HEE
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks terrific! We are jealous of the pepper plant. We have tried to grow peppers here three different times with no luck. Just a bit too cool here for peppers.
ReplyDeleteWe had to look and see where you live, 'cause you already have tomatoes & peppers. We're in Whisk-onsin, so have a shorter growing season.
ReplyDeleteWhat great plants you have - and to have so much nearing readiness so early is so amazing to me - I am used to everything being later in the summer. Maybe the squash thinks it is at our house this year and is waiting because of that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! Soon you will all be eating healthy organic and yummy veggies! Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely garden!
Take care

Your garden is growing well. Our tomatoes have only just started to flower.
ReplyDeleteMommy is drooling over a tomato sandwich...fresh out of the garden is the world's BEST!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful garden! We can't grow veggies here because we have very few full sun spots, but we like to see them! And thank you so much for stopping by our blog (Franklin was kind of nervous about his first gardening post, so we stuck with marigolds!)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love the nip nanner photo below!
You're gonna have lots of yummy veggies!!!
ReplyDeleteNice! We like salads or mostly we like to tear holes in the salad bag! But you could make a nice salad with your veggies there!
