Foster Flashback Friday

Logan was a foster kitten in 2003. He came to us because he was recovering from having his tail amputated. He had arrived at the vet with his tail almost completely degloved and infected. The best solution for him was to simply remove it, and his hoo-hahs at the same time.
We were running a makeshift hospital at our house at the time, so he fit right in. You can see his little stub of a remaining tail in this picture. He was a complete love bug, and was adopted the first time he went out...everyone loves a bit of a sad story :)

Have a great weekend all you bloggers and Happy Mother's Day!!

  15. Awww, what a little cutie. Our Gypsy had to have her tail amputated just before she came to our home (they took the stitches out the day The Mommy adopted her) so she's only got a little stump too, and it's sad but cute at the same time. MOL

    Purrs and hugs,
    The Kitty Krew
