December is Here

December has arrived...where has the year gone? Time flies when you are having fun!

Our month is pretty quiet, and I am already looking forward to taking time off around the holidays to spend with the boys!

Our Granny's birthday is the week before Christmas...she will be 88 this year!

Mojo is the cat on the calendar this month...Christmas was his holiday, since Red was his color! This photo was taken in 2008, which was his last Christmas with us. I love decorating the Christmas tree and finding all of his ornaments each year...such a fun way to remember a special boy :)

September is here

We are a day late in posting our new calendar, but Tanner needed some attention yesterday. He is still coughing, but he is playing and eating, so not feeling too poorly today. Thanks for all the purrs!
September is a big month for birthdays...Cousin Sophie and Devon will both be turning 9. Devon is already reminding me that his birthday is coming up...I have been getting some good ideas for presents from reading some of your blogs and toy reviews!! Some of my favorites are Flynn showing us plague ratsie. And Smokey playing with the Skinneeez Squirrel.

My dad is having a birthday too...he is coming up to our house to go to a football game that weekend. Go Tarheels!

I'm looking forward to this weekend, I have a scrapbooking workshop on Friday night, and then I get to spend three days with the boys. Perfect timing since they are all coming down with some sort of cold thing. Extra snuggles are what the doctor ordered!

August is Here

August is here...where is the year going?

Our mom has a birthday this month...we are going to try and be on our best behavior that day and give her extra snuggles.

She made this calendar page with all our pictures on it, even her two angel boys. Clockwise from the top - Smokey, Derek, Mojo, Devon and Tanner.

We are getting a touch worried though because the big black cases with wheels have appeared...mom may be going away :( She keeps talking about 'Flat' Cats wonder what that is all about? Guess we'll find out soon...

The Four Crazy Cats

A is for April

We are participating in the challenge set forth by The Bombastic Bandicoots, who got the idea from their friends. The idea is to blog every day during the month of April, minus Sunday, and each day write about a letter of the alphabet, A-Z. I am going to change things up a bit, and either write about or at least post a picture for each letter.

Today is day one, and that is letter A...A is for April. April is a good month in our house...we have two birthdays to celebrate. Tanner will 8 on the 7th and Smokey will be 14 on the 14th.

We also have Easter, the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, without whom we would be nothing.

April Showers bring May Flowers is a common saying...we will be heading to the flower shop this month for our spring/summer flowers. My favorite flowers are purple and blue ones. My sister loves pink.

Well, that's April...tomorrow is the letter B.

March is here...

Best Friends is the theme for March...of course in reality, being cooped up together all winter without any fresh air, our house is more like tolerant dudes instead.

This month we have Daylight savings time starting, so we'll have more daylight in the evening...looking forward to walking after work. And the First day of spring...bring on some warmer weather.

A couple of our friends have birthday's this month, so celebrations are in order!

Dasha, was Aunties first cat. She would be 14 this year, but died when she was 7 very unexpectedly one weekend. She was a beautiful girl, who looked like a Christmas tree when she sat due to all the floofy furs!

Her markings were very unique...I've never see another cat like her.

Happy February

My February calendar. The photos on this page are of Mojo last year. The one in the grass just looks like pure contentment. That boy loved to be outside, unfortunately he couldn't go out as much as he would have preferred because of his allergies.

The photo on the right, is the last picture of me and Mojo together. He was euthanized shortly after this shot. His tumor was huge and causing more discomfort that we could control. So on February 25th, 2009 Mojo's time on earth ended. It's hard to believe it's almost been a whole year. Fly High Superman!!

On a happier note, my great aunt, will be 97 this month. Here's a picture of her in summer 2009, at 96. She looks great!
