Exposing your tummy can be great fun! Devon loves to lay on his back and side. When we moved into the new house, Devon was very smitten with the new stove! He loved to lay on it, especially if it was a little warm, but not hot. We had to break out the squirt bottle to put an end to this bad habit, but not before snapping a few ultra cute photos!
Stretching out enjoying the warmth...love those 'old man underarms' Devon!
Oh we lay on the stove too...specially after the oven has been on...so nice and warm! Mom doesn't like us on the stove though and usually makes us get off...
ReplyDeleteWe get yelled out if we go on the stove. It's gas, so the burners don't allow us to really lay down. And, if mom does catch us sitting up there, she always says, "I am NOT making Chicken Chow Meow tonight! Get down!"
ReplyDeleteOur mum has to leave saucepans of water on the cooker top to stop us sitting on it.
ReplyDeleteI understand, Devon, your penchant for the stove. It's so nice and warm. You look so cute up there in your different poses.
ReplyDeleteOh for a home that allows us to nap on the warm stove! Gas burners just aren't confortable.

We also love to lay on the glass stove. Ya know, 6 months after we moved into our brand new house, Chevelle knocked something off the top of the cabinet and it broke the glass top on the stove in one corner....oops!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried that! Hmmmmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteWe have got gas burners too which wouldn't be comfy to lie on.
ReplyDeleteWe have a coil burner stove which definitely doesn't look as comfy as that!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! That looks very comfy, Devon! Our Mommy doesn't let us get up on the stove at all (or at least not when she catches us!), 'cuz she doesn't want us to start a bad habit. One of the few places she pretty much refuses to let us be. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteRoxy wanted to say thank you very much for the nice birthday greetings today!
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
We have a gas stove too but the kitties still go up there - we have to take the knobs off so that it doesn't get turned on. I am trying to break them of the habit but it isn't working at all - and it only has been happening in the past year or so.
