Snow at last!!

Well, we finally got a nice snow here in North Carolina. The boys were excited when we told them they could go out for a few minutes on Saturday. They were talking at the door and trying to get us to hurry our breakfast so they could get out there. Once the door was opened, it was a different story...every one backed up and refused to go out, there was still a lot of sleet falling and I can't blame them. We spent the day relaxing and enjoying the sound of all the sleet hitting the windows.

By Sunday, everything was calm, and beautiful! We shoveled off the patio, and the boys were a bit braver. Here's Tanner checking it out. Maybe he'll finally catch a bird!
He was quite brave and ventured out in the white stuff, although he continually picked his paws up because they were so cold :)
Maybe we'll use this as our tock shot in October :)

Cute kitty paw prints in the snow...

Once back in the house, Tanner found a nice spot under a down throw to spend the rest of the day :)

  5. Tanner, we think you're smart for cuddling under that cover...but maybe not so smart for going out in the snow! MOL

  6. Ah yes, I'm quite familiar with those snow treks and cold toesies. I'm sure Tanner's not accustomed to it, either. Best to stay safe at home under the warm blanket and surrounded by the love of your family, Tanner.

  8. So brave to go outside in all that cold, wet stuff. That will be a lovely tock picture for mommy to use next October. Did mommy cover you or did you crawl under there by yourself?
